About the role
The Catering Manager will lead all catering operations at the assigned location in Qatar, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role demands strong leadership, excellent organisational ability and a proven track record in managing large‑scale food service environments such as camps or units.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organise and control catering activities to ensure prompt, efficient and high‑quality service in line with contractual specifications.
- Coordinate workflow between kitchen, service and support teams to guarantee smooth operations.
- Optimise use of manpower, equipment and resources to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and industry best practices.
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and local food safety regulations.
- Identify training needs and organise staff development programmes with senior management.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience as a Location Manager, Camp Boss or Unit Manager.
- Strong leadership and team‑motivation skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Track record of achieving high customer satisfaction and employee morale.
- Ability to meet financial objectives and adhere to strategic plans.
Required skills
- HACCP food safety certification or equivalent knowledge.
