Chief Financial Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to lead finance and accounting across a diversified conglomerate. The CFO will shape long‑term financial strategy, ensure robust controls, and support the CEO and executive team in driving growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute the organization’s long‑term financial strategy.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for all business units and manage corrective actions for variances.
• Evaluate capital structure and recommend optimal debt and equity financing options.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Drive cost‑optimization programs and assess operational financial risks.
• Support M&A activities with financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Prepare consolidated IFRS financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including Qatar Stock Exchange disclosure rules.
• Manage liquidity, cash flow, working capital, and treasury exposures.
• Maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for the finance and accounting team.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a multi‑subsidiary environment.
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and capital structure management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance, and capital market regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large finance teams and drive performance improvements.
