Civil 3D BIM Modeler

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil 3D BIM Modeler to develop detailed 3D models for wet utility systems and support production automation on infrastructure projects in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Create coordinated 3D models for water mains, sewer networks, stormwater drainage, retention systems and related structures such as manholes, chambers and culverts.
• Develop and maintain Civil 3D models and drawings in line with project specifications, standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, BIM coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent, spatial coordination and accurate model‑based inputs.
• Perform quality checks, revisions and support clash detection and issue resolution during coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Autodesk Civil 3D BIM modelling for civil works, especially wet utilities and stormwater drainage.
• Proven experience on infrastructure projects involving water, sewer or stormwater networks.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage for model review and clash detection.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings, survey data and design reports.
