Civil 3D BIM Modeler

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil 3D BIM Modeler to join its Qatar team. You will use advanced Civil 3D and BIM expertise to create detailed 3D models for stormwater drainage and wet utility systems, supporting production automation and ensuring constructible designs.

Key responsibilities

• Create coordinated 3D models for water mains, foul sewer networks, stormwater drainage, retention systems, and associated structures such as manholes, chambers, and culverts.
• Develop and maintain Civil 3D models and drawings in line with project specifications and client standards.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, project managers, BIM coordinators, and other discipline modelers to ensure design intent and multidisciplinary integration.
• Conduct quality checks, revisions, and support clash detection and issue resolution during coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Autodesk Civil 3D BIM modelling for civil works, focusing on wet utilities and stormwater drainage.
• Proven experience on infrastructure projects involving water, sewer, and stormwater networks.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Advanced drafting and detailing with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage for model review and clash detection.
