COMSEC/EKMS Manager (Qatar)

About the role

Transform technology into opportunity as a COMSEC/EKMS Manager with GDIT. You will be responsible for analyzing, administering and maintaining telecommunications systems that protect classified information for U.S. government agencies operating in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, administer and maintain telecommunications and network security systems.
• Monitor, test and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate moves, installations and upgrades of telecommunications equipment on‑site.
• Manage system databases, compile performance reports and oversee overall system health.
• Administer a DoD classified COMSEC account in compliance with NSA and service regulations.
• Generate and distribute electronic keys (KMI/EKMS) to end‑cryptographic units.
• Supervise and mentor communications support personnel.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Lead‑level, hands‑on experience with installation, repair, troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems.
• 10+ years of related experience, with at least 2 years in a comparable role.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on complex technical problems.

• Telecommunications systems and network troubleshooting.
