Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Contracts Specialist supports the full life cycle of Retail and Hospitality contracts for Qatar Airways, handling drafting, reviewing, negotiating and administering agreements in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with templates, legal requirements and commercial objectives.
• Draft, review and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and business partners, liaising with QR Legal stakeholders.
• Identify contractual and legal breaches or gaps and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Coordinate internal approvals and documentation to ensure contracts are executed validly and on time.
• Support commercial team in re‑negotiations and ensure cost‑effective business outcomes.
• Research legislation and regulations to keep contracts compliant and advise on entity set‑up such as joint ventures.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Law, Procurement or related field) or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant contractual, legal, supply‑chain or procurement experience, preferably within retail and hospitality.
• Experience in contract management, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
