Control & Resources Analyst

About the role

East West Digital is looking for a Control & Resources Analyst to join its Doha office. Reporting to the Control & Resources Manager (Financial Controller), you will combine accounting, budgeting and ERP expertise with modern analytical tools to support business control, resource utilization and HR process monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily and monthly accounting reconciliations, budget variance analysis and operational forecasting using advanced Excel models.
• Extract, validate and reconcile financial and operational data from SAP and lightweight ERP systems such as Odoo, Zoho Books, NetSuite or Xero.
• Track team capacity, project time‑logging and utilization rates, and maintain HR process documentation in line with Qatar labour regulations.
• Support the preparation of internal reporting packages, KPI dashboards and corporate documentation for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of hands‑on experience in finance, operations or business control within Qatar, preferably in SaaS or technology‑focused companies.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with finance, operations, HR and project delivery teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, multi‑tab models).
• Practical experience with SAP financial modules.
• Familiarity with lightweight ERP platforms such as Odoo, Zoho Books, NetSuite or Xero.
• Exposure to agentic AI tools or AI‑assisted analytical workflows for data extraction and reporting automation.
