Controls & Assurance Developer (Entry Level)

About the role

This entry‑level position supports North Oil Company's internal control framework and financial governance. You will gain hands‑on experience developing, testing, and maintaining controls that protect assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update process narratives, flowcharts, and control matrices for finance processes.
• Execute sample‑based control testing, document findings, and track remediation.
• Maintain KYC documentation and vendor due‑diligence records, including periodic reviews.
• Monitor Segregation of Duties using SAP access reports and resolve conflicts.
• Prepare documentation packages for internal and external audits and track audit findings.
• Assist in updating finance policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional interested in finance, risk, and compliance.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with auditors, IT, and business teams.

Required skills

• SAP (access‑reporting and user‑role review).
• Data analytics tools for exception and anomaly detection.
