Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will audit and analyse hotel operational activities, ensuring financial integrity and minimizing risk. You will provide accurate reports, recommendations and support to all departments to run their operations efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform spot checks on goods receipt, culinary, housekeeping, laundry, stewarding and bar areas to verify accuracy, wastage and compliance with recipes.
• Audit market lists, seasonal items and inventory movements, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Create and distribute monthly cost reports and conduct random inventories to verify stock levels.
• Ensure F&B POS system pricing is up‑to‑date and that food recipes have correct cost and sale prices.
• Communicate discrepancies in invoices or other issues to the supervisor and support additional accounting tasks as needed.

• Professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to operate standard computer and office equipment.
• Experience with accounting software (preferred).
