Cost Controller

About the role
The Cost Controller will audit and analyse hotel operational activities, produce accurate reports and recommendations, and help safeguard the hotel's financial integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Perform spot checks on goods receipt, culinary, housekeeping, laundry, stewarding and bar areas to verify accuracy, wastage and compliance with recipes.
- Audit market lists, seasonal items and inventory movements, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Create and distribute monthly cost reports and conduct random inventories to ensure stock levels match demand.
- Verify that food recipes have up‑to‑date cost and sale prices and that F&B POS pricing is current.
- Communicate discrepancies in invoices or other issues to the supervisor and support additional accounting duties as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment; experience with accounting software is a plus.
