Cost Manager – Real Estate Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to join its Real Estate team in Qatar. You will work on a diverse portfolio of large‑scale projects, including data centres, commercial offices, new builds, fit‑outs and refurbishments. Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate measurements for building and MEP works, ensuring high‑quality data that drives project success.
• Develop competitive, commercially‑savvy cost estimates using deep market‑price knowledge.
• Produce detailed Bills of Quantities that serve as the foundation for project delivery.
• Manage post‑contract cost variances, lead change‑control processes and process interim applications with commercial rigor.
• Maintain ownership of all deliverables, upholding Turner & Townsend’s standards of precision.
• Collaborate with commission leads to deliver timely, accurate reports for decision‑making.
• Interface with clients, contractors and consultants, acting as a trusted advisor on cost matters.

Required profile

• Strong measurement capability for building and MEP works.
• In‑depth understanding of market pricing for construction and MEP items.
• Proven experience preparing Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
• Ability to manage cost variances, change control and interim applications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
