CSSD Technician

About the role

Aman Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented CSSD Technician to join its healthcare team. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and infection control for surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization machinery, including use of sterilization indicators.
• Pack, label and store sterile items according to protocol.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and logs.
• Follow infection control policies and international standards.
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance of CSSD equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Higher secondary school certificate with a Certificate in CSSD (minimum one‑year course) or a Diploma in a health‑related field, or a Certificate in CSSD (minimum six months) plus certification from CBSPD USA or HSPA USA.
• Locally available with NOC.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Proficiency in operating autoclaves and interpreting sterilization indicators.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities for accurate record‑keeping.
• Ability to perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
