Custom Clearance Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Clearance Team Leader to oversee end‑to‑end transportation and customs clearance for inbound and outbound shipments in Doha. The role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with Qatari customs regulations, and timely movement of goods from declaration through final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily customs clearance activities for import, export, transit, bonded warehouse and cross‑border shipments.
• Ensure efficient clearance through seaports, airports and land borders.
• Verify that all shipping and customs documents are accurate, complete and compliant before submission.
• Confirm HS‑code classification and declaration accuracy in coordination with brokers and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments from documentation readiness to customs release and final delivery, maintaining continuous tracking and visibility.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and customs authorities to guarantee smooth clearance and transportation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading customs clearance operations.
• Familiarity with Qatari customs regulations and procedures.
• Strong organizational and supervisory abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with brokers, transporters and authorities.
