Cyber Security Expert

About the role

The Cyber Security Expert will design, implement and maintain security controls across the organization’s information systems. The role involves monitoring networks for threats, responding to incidents, and developing security policies to protect data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement and maintain security controls and countermeasures.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS, WAF, sandbox, email security, endpoint protection and EDR solutions.
• Monitor networks for potential threats using tools such as firewalls, IDS, WAF, sandbox, DDoS mitigation and endpoint protection.
• Develop monitoring and visibility capabilities, report on incidents, vulnerabilities and trends.
• Create security policies, procedures and plans to safeguard data and systems.
• Conduct forensic analysis of cyber‑attacks and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/IT engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting network security products.
• Professional certifications such as CCIE Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, or Azure (Az‑104, Az‑500).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with F5 WAF, Trend Micro (IPS, Deep Security, DDI), Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet Firewall, Cisco FTD, Cisco WSA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Defender, O365 Email Security, sandboxing, DDoS mitigation, endpoint protection and EDR.
• Knowledge of Azure security services and related certifications.
