Cyber Security Manager

About the role

The Cyber Security Manager will lead Qatar Airways Group's Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) team. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and reporting on comprehensive VAPT operations to identify and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities across the airline’s enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and execute vulnerability assessment and penetration testing operations.
• Lead the identification, assessment, and exploitation of security vulnerabilities across a wide range of systems and applications.
• Work independently and guide VAPT team members.
• Conduct research and develop offensive security methodologies, tools, and techniques, including proof‑of‑concept exploits and testing playbooks.
• Review and analyze VAPT results, producing detailed reports with findings, exploitation procedures, risks, and recommendations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities based on VAPT findings.
• Collaborate with non‑security engineering teams to educate and support vulnerability management and remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in offensive security, covering network, web application, and wireless environments.
• Additional experience in operational technology (OT) environment assessments.
