Design Manager – Lead Architecture & Interior Design Team

About the role

Nabina Group, a leading provider of building materials, interior solutions and contracting services in Qatar, is looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead its multidisciplinary design team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality residential, commercial, hospitality and fit‑out projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage architects, interior designers and technical staff.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings and project deliverables, ensuring consistency and innovation.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards and project budgets.
• Conduct site visits, client presentations and design reviews, and oversee shop‑drawing and material approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture or interior design, with at least 2 years in a design‑manager or senior‑lead role.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Currently based in Qatar with a valid Qatar driving licence; NOC for transfer preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D visualization software.
• Revit proficiency (advantage).
