Dining Services Team Leader

About the role

The Dining Services Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of multiple café outlets, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety. The role involves managing stock, securing beverages, and coordinating with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Train and supervise staff to maintain service and cleanliness standards in line with HACCP requirements.
• Monitor beverage security, maintain minimum stock levels, and coordinate promotions for food and beverage outlets.
• Ensure proper receipt, temperature control, and HACCP compliance for all catering products.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, furniture, linens, and service equipment to guarantee they meet company standards.
• Perform inventory audits of crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, and beverage stocks and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with the Cafeteria Manager on cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment repairs.
• Provide hands‑on support during peak periods to ensure prompt, quality food service.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or high‑school qualification with at least 2 years of experience.
• Previous supervisory experience in hotels, restaurants, or similar food‑service environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food‑safety standards.
