Duty Manager – Luxury Desert Resort

About the role

Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is seeking a dynamic, guest‑focused Duty Manager to lead daily resort operations in a remote luxury desert environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the operational leader on shift, ensuring seamless guest experiences and alignment with the brand’s philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day resort operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Wellness during assigned shifts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, service recovery, and complaint resolution.
• Conduct regular property walkthroughs to maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Support Front Office activities such as check‑in, check‑out, VIP arrivals, and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate updates to management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a Duty Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities with a guest‑centric mindset.
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a remote resort setting and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Fluent English (additional languages a plus) and excellent organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of property management systems (PMS).
• Familiarity with health, safety, and security procedures in hospitality environments.
