Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role also involves reporting faults to engineers and ensuring high‑quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly and complete them within deadlines.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure compliance with instructions from TO, STO, and Engineers.
• Report defects, breakdowns, damages, and spare‑part requirements to the Fault Reporting Center or relevant engineers.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and adhere to duty rosters and HSEQ standards.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Corrective maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS regulations.
• Proficiency in using test tools and measurement equipment.
