Electrician – Events & Production

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and temporary power requirements for events, exhibitions, and production projects. The successful candidate will ensure safe and efficient electrical setups and provide hands‑on technical support during installations, live events, and dismantling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems for events, exhibitions, and production projects.
• Set up temporary power distribution, electrical cabling, lighting, and AV‑related electrical connections.
• Conduct pre‑event electrical inspections and prepare temporary wiring layouts.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, carpentry teams, and event crews to meet electrical requirements.
• Supervise electrical installation and dismantling activities on‑site.
• Respond quickly to electrical faults and technical issues during live events.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and technical diagrams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and inventory and participate in safety inspections.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, Certificate or equivalent qualification in Electrical Systems or Electrical Installation.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an electrician, preferably in events, exhibitions, production or temporary installations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, temporary power distribution and lighting.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in fast‑paced or live‑event environments.
• Familiarity with Qatar electrical requirements and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work on‑site with electrical tools and equipment, including weekends or extended hours when required.
