Electrician

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a skilled Electrician to join its engineering & facilities team in Doha. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems across hotel properties while ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning tools, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components; use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures based on job specifications and code requirements.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage maintenance inventory.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of related electrical work experience.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school education preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.

Required skills

• Reading blueprints and schematics.
• Use of power tools, hand tools, and testing devices (voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and local codes.
• Electronic wiring, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.
