Engineering Technician

About the role

The Engineering Technician supports Marriott’s facilities operations in Doha by maintaining the fleet of property vehicles and ensuring all tools and equipment are kept in optimal working condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on property vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans and electric carts, including oil checks, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery charging and spark plug replacement.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, lubrication and functional readiness.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, safety checks and equipment malfunctions.
• Manage maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed while adhering to company safety and security policies.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Vehicle maintenance (oil, fluids, tires, batteries, spark plugs).
• Equipment lubrication and cleaning.
• Inventory tracking and parts requisition.
• Compliance with safety and security procedures.
