Facility Coordinator – Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facility Coordinator – Operations to lead the delivery of hard and soft facilities management services within a school environment in Qatar. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with health and safety standards, and high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all hard FM services (HVAC, MEP, electrical, building maintenance, asset management).
• Manage soft FM services including housekeeping, security, pest control, landscaping and waste management.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prepare operational reports, service performance reviews and maintenance documentation.
• Oversee contractor performance, budgeting, cost control and contract administration.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in the GCC.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous experience in educational or similar facilities is an advantage.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.
• Professional certifications (IFMA, RICS, IWFM/BIFM, IMechE, IET, CIBSE, ICE) are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in MEP and electrical systems.
• Expertise in building maintenance and asset management.
• Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
