FileNet System Engineer (IBM FileNet P8)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled FileNet System Engineer to join our CMS team. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and ongoing support of IBM FileNet P8 solutions, ensuring reliable operation and alignment with business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 environments on‑premise and in cloud settings.
• Monitor performance, manage capacity, and optimise resources for FileNet and WebSphere Application Server.
• Provide technical liaison with development teams for enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and issue resolution.
• Handle vendor ticket escalation, high‑availability configuration, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain scripts and customisations using FileNet APIs and IBM Content Navigator.
• Apply DevOps and Agile practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with IBM FileNet versions (including 5.5.x) and its Process, Content, and Application Engines.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Oracle and SQL Server databases for FileNet repositories.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server 8.x/9.x.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and micro‑service architectures.
