Finance Manager (Qatari)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead Naufar's Finance Department, overseeing budgeting, financial planning, operations, reporting, cash and fund management, and accounting. The role is reserved for Qatari nationals to support Qatarization objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, consolidate and present annual budgets and financial plans, ensuring compliance with policy deadlines.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate audits, liaise with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure proposals, and strategic cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, credit control, petty cash, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve financial accounting systems and reporting tools.
• Contribute to the overall finance strategy and ensure adherence to internal policies and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Qatari nationality (Qatarization requirement).
• Proven experience in managing a finance department or similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, cash management and accounting principles.
• Ability to supervise teams and coordinate with auditors and senior management.
