Fitout Project Manager – On‑site Operations Lead

About the role

Samples Yard is seeking a hands‑on Fitout Project Manager to lead on‑site operations for interior fit‑out projects across Qatar. You will be responsible for delivering high‑end commercial and residential fit‑outs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to maintain smooth workflow.
• Prepare and manage schedules, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Review technical drawings and verify that work aligns with design specifications.
• Prepare cost estimations, BOQs, and manage project budgets.
• Monitor site progress, resolve technical or logistical issues, and conduct regular inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in procurement and value‑engineering activities as needed.
• Liaise closely with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and deliverables.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience managing interior fit‑out projects.
• Proven on‑site experience with high‑end commercial or residential projects.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Based in Qatar with a valid QID and driving licence.
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of interior finishes, joinery and material specifications.
• MEP coordination expertise.
• Cost estimation and budgeting proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
