Fleet Supply Chain Officer - MRO

About the role

The Fleet Supply Chain Officer (FSCO) is responsible for sourcing aircraft spares and tools, managing the component repair cycle, and ensuring part availability at the lowest possible cost to support aircraft maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review supplier quotations, negotiate price and lead times, and ensure value for money in buying and repair decisions.
• Monitor aircraft material requisitions, validate orders, and manage unserviceable inventory for timely release.
• Track and expedite outstanding orders, ensuring overdue orders stay below 5% and communicate delivery dates to customers.
• Maintain approved vendor lists, monitor supplier performance, and engage the Vendor Performance Team when needed.
• Support advance exchanges, loaner management, and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events with appropriate supply chain feedback.
• Lead resolution of quarantined parts, coordinate with suppliers and stores to close SDRs within 10 days.
• Collaborate with finance and invoice teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare data analysis, cost‑benchmarking reports, and presentations for senior management.
• Update ERP with accurate data and manage a team to achieve defined KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain or procurement within an aviation MRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management processes.
• Ability to lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and meet performance targets.
