About the role
We are looking for an experienced Fortinet Network Engineer on a 6‑month contract to design, deploy and optimise our enterprise network in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, configure and optimise routers, switches, Fortinet firewalls, VPNs and WLAN solutions.
- Monitor network performance, ensure high availability and support capacity planning.
- Review network designs and vendor proposals, and drive infrastructure improvements.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in network design, implementation and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SD‑WAN and cloud networking.
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications preferred; must be available in Qatar with a valid QID.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches and WLAN.
- Network security concepts, RBAC and content filtering.
- CCNP, Fortinet NSE and/or CCIE certifications.
