About the role
We are looking for a freelance Quantum Research Scientist with strong Python skills to design and validate computational physics problems for AI training projects. This is a project‑based, remote opportunity that supports leading tech companies in testing and improving AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design original computational physics problems that reflect real research workflows in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
- Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy.
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical physics applications.
- Verify solutions programmatically and provide clear documentation with correct answers.
Required profile
- Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
- Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
- Creative thinking and ability to translate complex physics concepts into problem sets.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Numerical libraries: Numpy, SciPy, Sympy.
- Experience with numerical simulation methods and physics modeling.
What we offer
