Front Office Receptionist

About the role

As a Front Office Receptionist you will be a key ambassador of InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa, delivering a warm, personalised and seamless experience for every guest from arrival through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, professional and personalised manner.
• Complete check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Verify guest information, identification, payment details and reservation arrangements.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services and the local area.
• Handle room allocations, upgrades, extensions and other front‑office transactions.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests and concerns, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Concierge and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Promote room upgrades, dining experiences and IHG One Rewards membership in line with brand standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a front‑office, reception or guest‑relations role, preferably in a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Warm, welcoming and naturally guest‑focused personality.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
