Full Professor – College of Public Policy

About the role

The College of Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University seeks a Full Professor to lead teaching, research and service activities. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, research‑intensive community in Doha, contributing to the university’s ambition to become a world‑class institution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver graduate‑level courses in public policy, global health policy or related fields.
• Supervise master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, providing academic mentorship.
• Develop and lead a robust research agenda addressing national and global policy challenges.
• Publish in high‑impact journals, secure external research funding and present findings at international conferences.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including curriculum development, committee work and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Global Health Policy or a closely related discipline.
• Established record of scholarly publications and successful research grant acquisition.
• Demonstrated experience teaching graduate students and supervising research projects.
• Commitment to ethical leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of future public policy leaders.
