General Manager – Additive Manufacturing

About the role

MBK Global is seeking an entrepreneurially‑minded General Manager to establish and scale an additive manufacturing business in Qatar, delivering sovereign capability for critical sectors such as oil & gas, aviation and defence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business plan, feasibility study, financial model and mobilisation roadmap, securing permits, licences, facilities and investment.
• Lead joint‑venture negotiations, build partnerships with international manufacturers and establish governance, IP and commercial arrangements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of proofs of concept, ensuring parts meet specification, quality, traceability and customer acceptance.
• Own profit & loss, budgeting, cash‑flow and capital‑expenditure while recruiting and leading a capable local team.

Required profile

• Extensive oil and gas industry experience with a strong understanding of asset integrity, maintenance and supply‑chain challenges.
• Proven track record of establishing or scaling an industrial business or large business unit with full commercial and financial accountability.
• Experience delivering complex industrial projects where safety, quality and schedule are critical.
• Ability to work in Qatar, cultural awareness and willingness to travel internationally.
