General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead Delta Hotels City Center Doha, overseeing all operational areas to deliver Marriott brand standards and exceptional guest experiences. This position is ideal for a professional with 1‑3 years of GM experience seeking to drive performance in a dynamic market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and support departments.
• Maintain high visibility with guests and associates to ensure service excellence.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost controls while meeting GOP, RevPAR and other financial targets.
• Champion a guest‑centric culture, monitor feedback platforms, and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Build, mentor and retain a high‑performing leadership team, fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Ensure strict compliance with Marriott, Delta Hotels brand standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to position the hotel competitively in Doha.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader ready for a first or early GM assignment.
• Strong operational background in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage or similar.
• Experience with Marriott or another international hotel brand is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
