General Manager – Sports, Hospitality & Wellness Center

About the role

The General Manager will lead a premium sports, hospitality, fitness and wellness centre across the GCC region. Reporting to the CEO, you will be the on‑site face of the brand, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional member experience and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of fitness, spa, F&B, front office and facilities teams.
• Ensure compliance with brand SOPs, service standards and health‑safety regulations.
• Maintain facility upkeep, equipment condition and cleanliness to premium standards.
• Plan rosters, staffing levels and shift schedules to match demand.
• Drive member satisfaction, retention and revenue growth through service excellence.
• Handle escalated member/guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Track and report KPIs such as occupancy, membership growth, retention and F&B revenue.
• Identify and develop local revenue opportunities (classes, events, corporate packages, retail).
• Manage the facility budget, control operational costs and achieve revenue targets.
• Lead, coach and develop department supervisors and frontline staff.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and licensing compliance, including emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sports Management or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in hospitality, fitness, wellness or sports club management.
• 3+ years in a General Manager or senior department head role within a multi‑department facility.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue, membership and service quality targets.
• Experience in GCC or regional markets preferred.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
