About the role

We are looking for a highly capable GIS Team Lead / Senior GIS Engineer to own the design, administration, support and continuous improvement of our ESRI GIS platform across a multi‑server environment. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering to deliver reliable GIS services to business and operational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Lead the GIS team in implementing, operating and supporting enterprise GIS solutions.
Provide technical guidance to engineers, analysts, developers and support staff.
Administer and maintain the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise stack (ArcGIS Server, Portal, Web Adaptor, Data Store, Pro, Desktop).
Manage GIS deployments across development, test, staging and production environments.
Monitor server health, performance, storage and ensure backup, recovery and business continuity.
Coordinate with IT for server provisioning, network configuration, firewall rules, DNS, certificates and access management.
Maintain enterprise geodatabases on SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle, ensuring data integrity, versioning and synchronization.
Support integration with SCADA, asset‑management systems, APIs and third‑party applications.
Publish and maintain map, feature and geoprocessing services, web GIS dashboards and custom interfaces.
Implement GIS security best practices and integrate with enterprise identity solutions.

Required profile

Proven experience leading GIS teams and delivering enterprise‑scale GIS solutions.
Strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise components and best‑practice administration.
Hands‑on expertise in managing multi‑server, high‑availability GIS deployments.
Experience coordinating with IT, vendors and project stakeholders.
