About the role
The Head Barista leads the coffee service team at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, ensuring flawless opening and closing operations while delivering the brand’s Gold Standards of luxury hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Perform full opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, securing the premises, and completing MICROS reports.
- Handle cash management: record transactions, count the bank, resolve discrepancies, and transport cash securely.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
- Maintain safety, security, and uniform standards, and report any incidents.
- Provide exceptional guest service, greet guests, address needs, and support guests with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
