Head of Marketing - Social Media (Qatari Only)

About the role

A dynamic Head of Marketing is sought to lead the digital and social media strategy behind world-class events, driving audience growth, engagement and commercial performance. The role oversees all social media platforms, paid campaigns, marketing analytics, reporting and budget management, so that every campaign delivers measurable results and maximum ROI. The position is open only to Qatari nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow all social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube.
• Develop and run paid and organic campaigns that raise brand awareness, ticket sales and audience engagement.
• Manage marketing budgets, media spend and campaign performance to maximise ROI.
• Monitor KPIs and campaign results with analytics and reporting tools, giving actionable insights and recommendations.
• Oversee content planning, scheduling, publishing and community management across platforms.
• Work with internal teams, agencies and partners on marketing campaigns and event promotions.
• Drive audience acquisition, CRM initiatives and data-led marketing strategies.
• Promote major events such as Formula 1, MotoGP and WEC through digital campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media and digital marketing leadership.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and optimising campaign performance.
• Data-driven mindset, able to turn insights into effective strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
• Experience in sports, entertainment, events or destination marketing is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of paid media and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.
