Head of Process Engineering

About the role

The Head of Process Engineering will lead process support for MP projects onshore in Qatar, ensuring consistent start‑up philosophies, smooth hand‑overs, and optimal production performance. This 36‑month fixed‑term role reports to the Engineering Manager and works closely with project teams, contractors, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering expertise and oversee the Process Engineering team.
• Lead feasibility studies on flow assurance and process design, defining scope and evaluating contractors.
• Maintain alignment with PMT, engineering contractors, and Operations to deliver studies on schedule.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with company policies, standards, and the QGPMS.
• Support technical bid evaluations, qualification of engineering firms, and use of design tools.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in process engineering within oil & gas or related industries.
• Strong track record of managing feasibility studies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management with PMTs, contractors, and operations.
• Ability to secure stakeholder agreement on concepts and results.
