Head of Special Advisory Services

About the role

The Head of Special Advisory Services will lead a portfolio of professional services including accounting outsourcing, bookkeeping, business support, company incorporations, corporate compliance and insolvency engagements. This senior position requires deep knowledge of the Qatari business environment and the ability to drive growth through high‑quality client delivery and new‑business generation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the department’s strategy, budget, KPIs and growth plan.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing advisory team.
• Oversee bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting and outsourced finance functions for clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Qatari regulatory requirements.
• Lead client engagements on business setup, licensing, company incorporation and corporate compliance.
• Manage insolvency, liquidation, restructuring and business recovery projects.
• Generate new business opportunities through existing networks and market development.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and participate in client pitches.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of relevant experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of the Qatari regulatory and market landscape.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, ACA or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Proven people‑management and project‑leadership skills.
