Head of Technology – Data & AI

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head our Technology practice with a focus on Data and AI. The role will define the strategic roadmap for sovereign architecture, multi‑cloud, data platforms and AI infrastructure, aligning with Qatar’s national digital agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the practice’s strategic roadmap covering sovereign architecture, multi‑cloud, data platforms, AI infrastructure and cybersecurity alignment.
• Grow revenue and expand the consulting footprint across government and enterprise sectors in Qatar.
• Identify and pursue emerging technology opportunities such as edge AI, sovereign cloud and private LLM infrastructure.
• Set P&L targets, build business cases for technology investments and report performance to senior leadership.
• Lead large‑scale transformation programmes, govern complex RFPs and commercial structuring, and strengthen ecosystem partnerships.
• Shape the company’s sovereign Data & AI vision and advise clients on secure, scalable multi‑cloud solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of enterprise technology consulting experience, including multi‑cloud architecture, data platform delivery and AI technologies.
• At least 6 years in a leadership role managing a large managed‑services business and medium to large teams.
• Deep expertise in sovereign architecture, multi‑cloud strategy and platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, private cloud, Oracle and Informatica.
• Proven experience with cybersecurity‑aligned architecture and compliance with data sovereignty and security frameworks.
