Head Tennis Coach – Future Center in Qatar

About the role

A future center in Qatar is recruiting a Head Coach to lead strategy, operations and commercial development. This is a leadership position combining team management, financial ownership, business development and operational excellence, with responsibility for delivering a premium tennis and padel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the club's overall racquet sports strategy and lead day-to-day operations to a consistently high standard
• Recruit, manage, mentor and develop a team of coaches and operational staff, setting objectives, performance standards, schedules and procedures
• Own the budget, revenue targets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting; develop commercial initiatives to grow participation, court use, membership engagement and profitability
• Identify new revenue opportunities in coaching, academies, clinics, tournaments, events, retail, sponsorships and partnerships, and monitor KPIs with regular reports to senior management
• Apply a strong sales mindset to convert inquiries, retain players and grow participation
• Design and run a comprehensive program for junior and adult players, including private coaching, group clinics, academies, leagues, tournaments, camps and signature events, with a clear player-development pathway
• Mentor coaches and continuously improve the offering based on member feedback and market trends
• Build lasting relationships with members, guests, partners and stakeholders, handling feedback and service issues professionally

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Head Coach, Tennis Director or comparable leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams while managing daily operations in a club, resort or multi-sport environment
• Strong experience developing and structuring racquet sports programs
• Business-driven mindset able to grow activity and revenue streams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to an international, high-end clientele
