Heavy Trailer Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Trailer Driver to join our supply chain logistics team in Doha. The successful candidate will transport finished goods and raw materials safely and on schedule, supporting our manufacturing and distribution operations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail outlets, and distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and carry out preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and log work periods, kilometers, and fuel receipts.
• Enter loading and unloading data into our automated system.
• Comply with all truck‑driving regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and verify delivery instructions.
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units, and CB radios.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Extensive knowledge of truck‑driving rules and regulations with no recent violations.
• Adaptability to handle unexpected traffic or weather conditions.
• Willingness to undergo background and drug checks and provide references.
• Trucking school diploma and a valid Qatar truck driving licence.
