Hindi QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This contract position is for a Hindi Quality Assurance Lead who will work remotely to ensure the quality, consistency, and performance of trainers on Hindi AI training projects. You will review AI‑generated Hindi content, evaluate trainer work against detailed rubrics, and provide precise written feedback to maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Hindi content and trainer/QA outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Evaluate work against project‑specific rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, gender/verb agreement errors, hallucinated claims, and inconsistent terminology.
• Provide clear, written feedback in English and ensure contributors follow quality standards.
• Spot recurring quality problems, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding of new contributors.
• Maintain documentation, style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and honeypot datasets.
• Activate and re‑engage contributors who are not working consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Hindi proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Hindi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related language‑review workflows.
• Deep understanding of Hindi grammar, Devanagari script, cultural context, and tone variations.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs is strongly preferred.
