About the role
The Hook Up & Commissioning Technician provides solutions in the Hook Up & Commissioning (Fab) discipline, executing testing and ensuring system readiness without supervisory approval.
Key responsibilities
- Execute low, medium and high voltage testing as required by projects.
- Conduct line walks and pre‑system/sub‑system completion checks.
- Assist vendors for specific test requirements.
- Prepare materials, tools and consumables for commissioning activities.
- Confirm red‑line mark‑up drawings are available on site.
- Utilize calibrated and certified test equipment.
- Maintain high safety, quality and productivity standards.
- Check, monitor and record preservation compliance.
- Report preservation status to the Preservation Coordinator.
Required profile
- High school graduate.
- Minimum 1 year experience in oil and gas construction projects.
- Preferably former PTMI personnel involved in FAT of SPS and SURF.
- Good teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Voltage testing (low, medium, high).
- FAT of SPS.
- SURF procedures.
- Use of calibrated test equipment.
- Preservation monitoring.
