Hourly English Teacher – Doha

About the role

The British Council in Doha is seeking an hourly‑paid English teacher to deliver high‑quality language classes and corporate training sessions. You will work in a multicultural environment, supporting both adult and young learners while contributing to the centre’s educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality English language classes and corporate training sessions.
• Develop culturally appropriate teaching materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional learning environment for adult and young learners.
• Perform core administrative tasks to support centre operations and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in continuous professional development and work towards DELTA‑level qualifications.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching English to adults and young learners.
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual learning needs.
• Willingness to pursue DELTA‑level qualifications if not already held.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
