Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team at a luxury hotel in Doha. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a neat appearance and enforce uniform and personal hygiene policies.
• Oversee key control procedures and ensure security of guest rooms.
• Plan and assign daily duties for room attendants, turn‑down staff, evening cleaners and housemen.
• Inspect day‑service and turn‑down rooms, complete checklists and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Liaise with Front Office to manage late arrivals, early departures, VIP rooms and special requests.
• Provide performance feedback to the Housekeeping Manager and conduct staff briefings.
• Check equipment, pantries and guest supply storage at shift end.
• Ensure accurate handover between shifts using the logbook.
• Coordinate room status updates with the order taker and report discrepancies.
• Monitor pantry stock levels and trigger requisitions to maintain par stock.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuation, fire or bomb threats.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Growth‑mindset, integrity and respect for guests and colleagues.
