HSE Inspector

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced HSE Inspector to lead health, safety and environment inspections across its operational sites in Doha. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections across all operational areas and facilities.
• Prepare detailed HSE reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations.
• Raise and document non‑compliances and safety violations in line with regulatory standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses to identify root causes and preventative measures.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and organisational policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification across work areas.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE management within mega construction projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive HSE inspections and audits.
• Proficiency in incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulatory standards.
• Competency in risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
