Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the management and leadership team in handling a wide range of HR issues at JW Marriott Doha. This full‑time position involves assisting with employee transfers, recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
• Maintain applicant flow logs, orientation records, and transfer request documentation.
• Create and manage new‑hire and personnel files in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Support orientation of new employees and monitor hiring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Assist with payroll record processing and ensure accurate employee record maintenance.
• Answer phone calls, record messages, and generate HR data reports as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 12 months of related HR experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
