About the role
The Human Resources Officer will oversee the full employee lifecycle for a high‑volume, project‑driven environment in Qatar. The role focuses on recruitment, compliance with Qatar Labour Law, visa processing, payroll, and employee welfare.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and bulk hiring for construction projects, including visa applications and onboarding/off‑boarding.
- Ensure strict compliance with Qatar Labour Law, handling QID issuance, medical checks, and government procedures.
- Administer payroll, monitor attendance, and maintain accurate HR records using HRMS tools.
- Act as primary contact for employee grievances, manage on‑site camp welfare and accommodation standards.
- Implement performance appraisal systems and coordinate training and development programs.
- Utilise ERP modules to update employee databases and generate workforce reports.
Required profile
- 7‑10 years of HR experience in construction or engineering sectors in Qatar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and visa regulations.
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
