HVAC Engineer – EPC Projects in the GCC

About the role

An HVAC Professional is needed to provide technical support to the Construction and Commissioning teams on site for multiple EPC projects across the GCC region (Qatar, Saudi Arabia or UAE). The role coordinates and oversees the planning, execution, documentation, testing and handover of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with the approved design, project requirements, procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements. Long-term assignments start from 01.10.2026.

Key responsibilities

• Review detailed procedures, plan daily work and prioritize HVAC construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Check that site activities follow the approved design, procedures, schedule, quality requirements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation supervisors, automation and control supervisors, vendors, subcontractors and the Owner's Commissioning Team.
• During construction: support completion activities, punch list management, mechanical completion readiness and system energization.
• During commissioning: run functional tests, air and water balancing (TAB), verify control logic in automation panels, run equipment tests, seasonal testing, train personnel, support plant start-up and O&M.
• Help manage vendor specialists and subcontractor teams and prepare final documentation for handover.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants, covering a similar role on at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
• Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience.
